Established on August 15, 1948, the Ogori Daiichi General Hospital(ODGH) is located in Ogori, Yamaguchi city, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan, which is one of three hospitals affiliated to Yamaguchi Prefectural Federation of Agricultural Co-operatives for Medical Welfare. In 1980, the hospital went through a major expansion and renovation. Recognizing the needs of rapidly aging population, facilities for the elderly were built and opened on February 3, 1990. There are 182 beds and 30 doctors/specialists, with a total of 408 staff now. Patients receive personalized health care provide by highly trained specialists using the most sophisticated medical technology.
In 2012, another expansion of a building has completed and we opened Medical Examination Center on the first floor in the building. We serve various health examinations in an amenity place. This building also has Day Surgery Center, Joint Replacement Center opened in 2010, and relocated operation rooms.
In 2017, the ODGH admitted 61,110 patients and handled 124,960 visits in its extensive outpatient program.
